Deutsche Grammophon celebrates the 100th Birthday of the ‘Troubadour of the Keyboard’, Geza Anda, in a limited edition 17-CD set. It includes the first CD release of rare shellack recordings of music by Bach/Busoni, Scarlatti and Brahms, and is presented with original sleeves, a 48 page booklet with new liner notes (English/German) by Anda expert Wolfgang Rathert, and recordings with conductors Ferenc Fricsay, Herbert von Karajan, Rafel Kubelik, and Eduard van Beinum. Anda was for the most part of his sadly too-short career a Deutsche Grammophon artist. The albums, which are not currently in the Digital Supply Chain, will be delivered as individual eAlbums with the artwork from the Complete edition.
